Im a druid and i never had the chance to determine how hard bronze was before
i joined the class. So, im a little confused by the appearance of the
bronze death blade. It seems to me that bronze is not a good metal to
be making the death blade out of ... by the time anyone gets to be able to
use it he/she has a strength much too high to make it worth it. I think
that steel even has a relatively short lifespan in the hands of a nearly
magnificent strength. I'm sure there will be a few people who will be
able to use the bronze blade but i don't think many players put much
importance on skills relative to stats, and are going to raise stats much
sooner than skills.
Again i don't know .. nor will i likely ever know very well ... how strong
bronze is. If im wrong please mail me telling me it's strength.
I think it is also importany to note that many weapons are made with a
specific class in mind ... sometimes changing something makes that weapon
unusable by many of the members of that class. In this case the death blade
was made for high level necromancers, who need bladed weapons and cant use
anything higher than hard. Likewise i started makeing the wooden viking sword
for high level druids (of which i think there are only two right now), who
need wooden weapons(the wooden viking sword is the most powerful wooden weapon
we can make). exceptional and imposible weapons should probably be made blunt
for clerics (as they are the only ones allowed to use that high of weapon,
but still have a limit on what type).
I'm just asking you to consider what the weapons target consumer is before
anything is changed when making it.
